Liaison wing assists the Resident Commissioner in the affairs of the  Government of Kerala in Delhi. The Liaison Wing functions under the Liaison Officer and plays an important role in the facilitation, coordination and monitoring of all official business of the State Government with the Government of India and other State governments and foreign countries through their missions in New Delhi. The primary function of the Liaison wing is to follow various pending proposals of the Government of Kerala submitted to the Government of India along with the release of Central assistance to the various State Government departments. This wing also seeks appointments of the visiting State dignitaries with various offices of the Central Government.  Seven Assistant Liaison Officers assist the Liaison Officer to coordinate and function the duties and responsibilities.
